Bellagio is situated on the Las Vegas strip in Nevada. It is a resort, casino and luxury hotel. It is owned by MGM Resorts International. The hotel is named after the town of Bellagio in Italy. It has an amazing 8 acre lake between the building and the strip, housing the fountains of Bellagio, which is a big dancing water fountain that is synchronised to music. This hotel hosts the famous Cirque du Soleil production. The main tower of Bellagio has 3015 rooms, 36 floors and is 508 feet tall. The Spa tower opened in December 2004 is to the south of the main tower which has 33 floors, 935 rooms and is 392 feet tall.

Fountains of Bellagio
The fountain’s of Bellagio is a huge, dancing water feature with performances synchronised to music. The performances take place in front of the hotel and are visible from number points of the strip. There is a show every thirty minutes in the afternoon and early in the evenings and also every fifteen minutes from eight o’clock to midnight. There are also additional shows for special occasions such as weddings etc. The fountain display is choreographed to a number of different pieces of music, set in an eight acre manmade lake.
Conservatory and botanical gardens
The hotel also has a conservatory and botanical gardens. The Conservatory uses five seasonal themes such as Chinese New Year; spring, summer, autumn and Winter which operates from January to the middle of Mach using different fragranced flowers for the display for each theme. The conservatory is beside the hotel lobby and is opened to the public.
Art Gallery in the Bellagio
The hotel also holds a special art exhibition displaying art work that is on loan from different museums and private sellers from around the world. The gallery is located along the pool promenade and accommodates large crowds throughout the year.
The Bellagio hosts the famous theatre performance “O” from Cirque de Soleil. This is an amazing performance to see with a cast of world class acrobats, divers that perform on and above the water and also synchronised swimmers. This production is one not be missed, breath taking and memorable.
